SENSEABLE CITY LAB ||| CAMBRIDGE, MA
1/2020 to 11/2021 – Research Assistant / Fellow Leads, supports, and creates projects focused on urban analytics, infrastructure systems, and other urban information. Conceives and executes design solutions to communicate complex sensing and data analysis processes. Analyzes, parses, and manages data from different formats using Python, Javascript.
CIVIC DATA DESIGN LAB ||| CAMBRIDGE, MA
10/18 to Present – Research Affiliate, Teaching Assistant Leads exhibition, data analytics, and data visualization projects included client-facing and internal research. Supports in research and pedagogical efforts. Manages and collaborates on projects with organizations such as Regional Plan Association (RPA) and DVDL DD.
FULBRIGHT STUDY & RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP ||| SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL
2/17 to 11/17 – Researcher Explored changes in the urban landscape resulting from a municipal law and mayoral policy that removed advertising signage and erased urban art Surveyed stakeholders around the city on the impact of these changes and investigated visual culture in the urban context with University of São Paulo (USP) faculty Documented findings in a visual essay and online through a blog (www.cidade.wrong.website) and photographically on Instagram (@verynicefire) Attended graduate level course at USP Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism

8/13 to 5/15 – Designer and Minister of Printer Scrutiny Designed solutions with community partners like a convict re-introduction campus and its restaurant, an arts center making a new space for technology, and an neighborhood trying to find a non-obvious solution to a six-way intersection Managed print capacities including digital laser, risograph, and screen printing

5/14 to 8/14 – Intern Facilitated pilot design therapy workshops for individuals in recovery, a program which later went on to receive NEA funding and continues on today Submitted grant applications for a community design and identity initiative in Highland Park, an economically distressed area in Richmond, Virginia
